Riverside Community College, RCC, has a rich history that dates back to 1916. The college offers students associate degrees in various career driven fields, career certificates and the opportunity to transfer to a 4-year university or go straight into the workforce upon graduation. At Riverside, the possibilities are endless with a school that networks with community and employers plus in the state of California, the industries are growing and they are looking for you.

Campus

At the RCC campus, students will find themselves in Riverside, California. Upon admittance to the college, students are home with the TIGERS and their various academic and athletic programs. Students get access to an on campus bookstore and library plus the school has sports options, transfer opportunities and the Disabled Students Programs and Services that came about in 1961. At RCC, each student deserves a caring and productive environment to reach his or her full potential. At the campus, students are also offered computer labs, study abroad programs, food services, and counseling.

Courses

The academic departments at RCC are divided into a variety of different fields of study for students to choose. Some of those include applied technology, art, early childhood education, life sciences, nursing, the performing arts, and world languages. Students can take programs in accounting, air conditioning, dental hygiene, film studies, oceanography and a variety of other career driven and trade courses. RCC also offers online classes, hybrid classes, which pair’s classroom attendance with online learning, and web enhanced classes where students are face to face with class instruction although these classes hold meetings on campus.
