American Baptist Seminary is a school that all about world Christianity. It provides a place for students and teachers to share their beliefs and values together for the ultimate in discussions of faith. The belief in theology is a top priority and the school accepts students of all faiths in to their college. The students here have access to seminars with some of the best teachers of faith and access one of the largest theological libraries in the United States.


Campus


The campus at the American Baptist Seminary of the West has a divine location in Berkeley, California. It is directly across the bay from popular San Francisco. A four-story brick building is what students see as the college’s focal point. This focal point is also the heart of the college, known as Hobart Hall, which was designed by one of the best architects in the world, Julie Morgan. The American Baptist Seminary is a place for work and study as well as a California state landmark.


Courses


Courses at the college allow students to go beyond the classroom and a blackboard and do online studies. Here students can participate in discussions, access specific online courses, and announcements for those particular studies. American Baptist also offers students classroom learning about their faith. In classrooms, culture and ethnicity allow students to learn different aspects of faith and diversity. All students are encouraged to explore different outlets of their faith to lead them to their career of choice. Theology plus degree programs push students to work hard and follow their goals within traditional parish ministry and beyond.
