About the College
At My Le’s Beauty College, you will learn a challenging teaching and learning environment that will take full advantage of the student’s preparation to pass the California’s State Board exam. The classrooms only have 30 students at a time so they get the most out of the class and more one on one with the instructors. Our mission is to provide a type of education that will guarantee each student a successful career in the beauty industry. Each instructor is experienced and trained and brings their experience to the school to teach others what they know and have learned themselves.
About the campus
My Le’s Beauty College is over 5000 sq ft, has air conditioning, a modern and technology up to date with equipment and textbooks. The students benefit by the hands on learning. The supplies they have on hand help the students learn more about the products they must use. There is a student lounge with an eating and resting area. There can be 100 students in there at a time. They do not have any grants or government help towards your tuition, but do have Pell Grants and other financial help. They do not have housing on campus. There are many houses off campus that students share or there are also host families that rent rooms to students.
About the courses
The main majors are beauty and cosmetology. Courses under these majors are Aesthetician/Esthetician and Skin Care Specialist, Cosmetology, Barber/Styling, and Nail Instructor, Cosmetology/Cosmetologist, General, and Nail Technician/Specialist and Manicurist. In 2007, there were 97 students and 80 full times. My Le’s Beauty College has open enrollment and offers part time study. After graduation, they offer job placement so you can also find a job when you are done.
