About the college

Mt. San Jacinto Community College District, or MSJC, is a college where students can start their educational futures and transfer on to 4-year universities and colleges when the time comes. The college was established in 1962 and held its first classes in 1963. The need for quality education to meet the demands of a community and rapidly growing career industries gave the college the liftoff it needed to become a part of California’ s education institutions.

Campus

The San Jacinto campus is located by the State Highway 79 in the San Jacinto Valley. The college district covers a vast stretch of land, 1,700 square miles to be exact. The community is located in Riverside County, which is a fast growing region in California. The mission of Mt. San Jacinto is to provide hands on training so that graduates can secure a career in the competitive job market and become productive members of the community. Just recently, 2 new childcare centers were added to provide unbeatable child development and teacher training.
